On February 12, 2009 Illinois will commemorate the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. State Representative Ruth Munson along with representatives of the City of Elgin, School District U-46 and the Gail Borden Library are making arrangements for a year long celebration of Lincoln that will culminate in a community birthday party in 2009.

Representative Munson invites you to help continue the planning of this celebration. Details for the Community Meeting are:
