Overwhelming Response Prompts Munson to Offer
Additional Senior Driving Refresher Course
ELGIN, IL- Due to the overwhelming response from seniors throughout the Elgin-area, State Representative Ruth Munson (R-Elgin) has scheduled an additional Senior Driving Refresher course on Thursday, June 23rd following the previously announced morning session.
This event is a two-hour refresher course taught by an instructor from the Secretary of State's Office. It is designed to prepare seniors who will be renewing their Driver's License. In some instances, insurance providers will offer discounted rates or other incentives to those who have completed the course.
Reservations for the 9:00 am morning session have already reached capacity for the room. For those who have already reserved their location, they are guaranteed a seat, but are welcome to switch their reservation to the afternoon session. The second two-hour session will begin promptly at noon in the lower level of the Elgin Township Building.
